Democracy - a Definition

A democracy is two foxes and a chicken voting on what's
for dinner.

When the people learn that they can write checks to
themselves, democracy will fail.

Fortunately the United States is a republic.

The Politics of Wealth Envy

A “progressive” daughter, Jane, was criticizing her
conservative father for being insensitive to the wealth
gap in America which is discussed so much by the
Progressives and liberal media.

The father asked about how she was doing in school. She
responded that she was doing well and had a GPA of 3.8.
He then asked about her friend Sue. Jane responded that
Sue was failing school and had a GPA of only 1.8. The
father asked why Jane didn't have 1 unit of her GPA
transferred to Sue so they would both have a 2.8 GPA.

Jane was incredulous, stating that she had worked very
hard to get her 3.8 GPA while Sue was a party girl and
hardly ever studied.

The wise father told her that she was becoming more conservative every day.

I Still Like Mike Huckabee!

1) I’d issue an Executive Order that grants Obamacare
waivers to all 50 states. I’d then go to the House and
Senate Republican leadership and ask them to submit
full repeal legislation.

2) I’d approve the Keystone Pipeline.

3) I’d ask the House and Senate to submit FairTax
legislation and guarantee a vote in both chambers within
100 days. There is no better way to unshackle our economy
then to pass the FairTax.

4) I’d ask Congress to submit and pass a Balanced Budget
amendment to the Constitution. I’d then promise to travel
to all 50 states to fight for its passage in each
legislature.

5) I’d hold a conference call with the four border
Governors with Mexico and ask them to submit a
comprehensive list within 24 hours of what they need to
secure their border and I would go a step further and
guarantee the federal government complete the job within
that time period.

Eugenics Has Evolved

While many in the scientific community have believed
the evolution idea; the idea is not science. The
scientific method cannot be applied to the evolution idea
since no observers lived at the “beginning” nor long
enough to see one kind becoming another; and no hypothesis
can be tested. There are no facts; only speculation – and
much fraud. A finch which becomes a “new species” is
still a bird. A scientific theory is a product of the
scientific method: gather data, form a hypothesis, test
the hypothesis, independently test and peer review the
tests and continue to test and evaluate as a theory. A
theory is a useful explanation of the observed facts.

Note that the scientific “theory” that the Sun and planets
rotate around the Earth has been disproved. As late as the
fifteenth century the Earth was believed flat even though
mathematicians had accurately calculated its circumference
by the third century B.C. Scientists - and politicians –
blamed global warming for the severe hurricanes in 2005,
but had no answer for the quiet seasons since then. The
major greenhouse gas is water vapor, but since politicians
have not figured out how to tax the Sun for warming the
seas, carbon dioxide is substituted as the villain.

Early in the 20th century the supposed mechanism of
evolution, survival of the fittest, encouraged eugenicists
to try to improve the human species by sterilizing hundreds
of thousands of less desirable Americans. Hitler was
condemned for his practices, but the same idea was put into
practice in the United States and Great Britain before
Hitler came to power. Since then the “science” of eugenics
has become “genetic engineering.” Murders by Hitler and
Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, have been
replaced by isolating and replacing problematic genes with
desirable genes. Planned Parenthood still seeks to prevent
pregnancy among the inferior and kill the baby if prevention
fails. The black percentage of abortions is a disproportionate
percentage compared to the black share of the child-bearing
population.

More Unemployment to Come!

President's Day is when 0bama steps out of the White House,
and if he sees his shadow, we have 2 more years of
unemployment.

Green Cards For College Grads

Obama in SOTU: "agree to stop expelling responsible young
people who want to staff our labs, start new businesses,
and defend this country. Send me a law that gives them
the chance to earn their citizenship. I will sign it
right away."
Green cards for college grads on legal student visas is
probably a good idea. Challenge Obama with his own words!
Amnesty must not be a condition for a bill!

Know the Constitution!

Many – if not most – Americans are ignorant of the United
States Constitution. That is tragic since it is the Law.
If another law is written but differs with the Constitution,
then it does not exist. It is void. If the President
issues an Executive Order doubling the pay of employees in
the Executive, then it is an illegal order. The President
may hire high-level employees without the consent of the
Senate, but if the Law requires consent, then they are not
employees; need not be paid; and any actions which they
take are void. If a person becomes President who is not a
natural born citizen, then all actions that he takes as
President are void.
Many – if not most – Americans believe that any baby born in
the United States is by Law an American citizen. That is
false. The 14th Amendment states: “All persons born or
naturalized in the United States, and subject to the
jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and
of the state wherein they reside.” A diplomat to the United
Nations who is in New York with his wife has “diplomatic
immunity” for himself and his wife. If she gives birth,
then she - and now her child - were NOT subject to the
jurisdiction of New York nor the United States. Similarly
in 1868 when the 14th Amendment was ratified, an Indian
living on a reservation and subject to tribal law, would not
become a citizen of the United States. The purpose of the
14th Amendment was to grant citizenship to slaves and their
children. To take a phrase out of the context and enforce
it is illegal. Criminals should not euphemistically be
called “undocumented aliens”; they are criminals. They are
also not entitled to the Constitutional rights of citizens.
Consider Paul being chained by Roman soldiers in Acts 22 and
23. Paul asks: “Is it legal for you to lash a man who is a
Roman citizen without a proper trial?” and “the commanding
officer was frightened when he realized that Paul was a
Roman citizen and that he had had him tied up.”
Consider a Federal bureaucracy – the Internal Revenue
Service. The 16th Amendment gives Congress the “power to
lay and collect taxes on incomes.” Only the Congress may
make the rules. Any of the 92,000 pages of IRS code which
has not been passed by Congress is void.
Similar bureaucracies have been created for business
regulation with Sarbannes-Oxley; for health care regulation
with Obamacare; and for banking regulation with Dodd-Frank.
The problems which these bureaucracies seek to regulate were
caused by bad laws passed by Congress. The people who wrote
the enforcement laws were also the “lawmakers” who wrote the
original “ bad laws” which were abused [legally]. To
continue as a nation with a Constitutional rule of law, we
the people need to re-institute our authority.
